Prestige FireStarter Clearly Looks The Part , CGCA “Haddington” is by GCH CH Copley’s Looks Good On Paper, CGCA and out of FireStarter Kennels' Grand Champion show dog, GCH CH FireStarter's Clear Winter Night "Eve". Andi Christensen and Haley Glick were extremely excited about the possibilities of this union and the quality of the resulting litter. As fate decreed, this much anticipated litter resulted in one liver and white male puppy. Haley's brother, Adam, and his wife, Jess, were ready to add a new Brittany to their family, so Haddington became the much anticipated addition to their canine family by joining their other Brittany, CH Brittstorm's Loud and Clear "Winn" in the fall of 2013.

The fall of 2014 has brought a myriad of changes in Jess and Adam's household. On September 15, 2014, their son, Micah Austin Glick, was born and Haddington authored his first book (A Boy and His Brittany). Sadly, three weeks later on October 11, 2014, Winn, the original Glick Brittany, passed away at 13 years old, leaving Haddington an only dog which was not an ideal fit.

In early March of 2015 Haddington began a new phase of his life as a member of the Prestige family of Brittanys and in keeping with our dogs' jet set lifestyles he hoped on a west bound flight to Riverside, California bound for Hidden Valley Kennels. Haddington is trained and handled by Paul Doiron and for his first season in the field he got a couple of fantastic placements in some competitive Derby stakes. Haddington has grown and mature into a big, leggy, hard-running dog that has been an education in the power of genetics. He is very intense in the field, with a high head, snappy movement, and a smooth gait. He was broke this summer and ran the 2015 fall season in the Gun Dog Stake.

This winter he spent hunting wild quail with his brace mate and best friend, CH Copley Prestige Watch Me Fly, CGC "Jack", in West Texas and hanging out in the house with Patrick.

It is a pleasure to watch him do what he was bred to do! Haddington and Jack are back together and live in Longview, TX with their forever family and this dynamic due are looking forward to summers spent at the lake and winter weekends spent in West Texas quail hunting! We loved being part of your story and are excited for your many adventures to come with the Stringer Family!
